Beginner Levels

Beginners 4-6 - This class is offered to first-time students ages 4-6. They will begin learning the traditional Irish jig and focus on basic form and technique.

Beginners 6-8 - This class is offered to students who are in their first year or two of Irish dancing and fall between ages 6-8. Dancers will learn the Light Jig, Reel and Slip Jig. Dancers will have the opportunity to compete in feiseanna!


Intermediate Levels

Advanced Beginner - This class is offered to students who have mastered their three soft shoe dances. Dancers will need hard shoes as they will begin learning the traditional Treble Jig and Hornpipe. Dancers will be expected to take classes 1-2 days per week.

Novice - This class is offered to students who know the five basic soft and hard shoe dances. Dancers in this level will learn more advanced steps such as the slow treble jig, slow hornpipe, and traditional set. Dancers will be expected to take classes at least 2 days per week.


Advanced Levels

Prizewinner - This class is offered to students who compete some or all of their dances at the Prizewinner level. They will learn more advanced steps in both hard and soft shoes. Dancers will be expected to take class at least 2 days per week.

Preliminary Champ / Open Championship - This class is offered to students who have qualified to compete at the PC or Championship level. Dancers at this level will be expected to take classes 3 days per week and will work on qualifying on major competitions such as the Oireachtas, Nationals, and World Championships.
